This event celebrates the finale of the Extreme Sailing Series Asia which has seen six of the World's best teams battle it out on Extreme 40 sailing boats on the toughest racecourses in the sport of sailing in Hong Kong and Singapore... And now they arrive in Muscat for the final. Going into the final Oman Sail MASIRAH have a 10-point lead - the Muscat round will be the decider - will the home team get to lift the coveted trophy! The 40-foot catamarans are 'speed machines' racing close to shore in short 15-minute races starting from 2.00pm. The Extreme Sailing Series circuit tours some of the greatest cities in the world - don't miss the chance to see these extreme racing machines in your home city
As well as watching the racing, you can take part in the ‘Extreme Beach Event’ on both Thursday, 4th and Friday, 5th February starting at 10.30am at Al Hail Beach next to The Wave, Muscat. There will be Registrations with Arsenal Soccer School's Oman, Red Bull Street Style, Entertainment from Hi & Hala FM, beach football, volleyball, face painting, hena, as well as the chance to try sailing for yourself with the Oman Sailing School (all ages welcome - no sailing experience necessary)!
